Hi Friend,
Welp. It happened. The internet died. Okay...technically not the WHOLE internet. Just Facebook and Instagram. But you better bet your bottom dollar I am highlighting a day that goes down in history, October 4th the day social media shut down.
If you don't remember, let me refresh your memory...around 9 a.m. on the 4th, social media went down. There was no warning. No email to prep you. No quick note to snag your contacts or follower's info before...CRASH.
I actually had no idea this was going down as I have all but given up social media, when my mastermind cohorts popped into Voxer letting me know that the world was falling! IG was down!
I cheered. Literally.
I realized that God had asked me publish my Idolatry episode ON THAT SAME DAY. He had asked me to fast from Instagram for 30 days, which I had done...and, had me feeling CONVICTED about bringing you truth on how social media is a stealer of success, joy, presence, and purpose. How it pulls us FARTHER from Christ and FARTHER from living out His plans for us.
