But the reality is that those numbers from the past were actually inflated and never an accurate reflection of your show's real success.
In 2023, Apple made a major change and removed auto-downloads for subscribers. This shift means that downloads now only reflect active listeners, giving us a clearer picture of our audience.
However, this can feel like a big hit on a perception basis with the metrics showing our numbers significantly less than they were a year or two ago. So, how do we move forward and redefine success beyond just the download numbers?
In this episode, I’ll walk you through how to reframe the way we think about our growth and how you can know if your show is successful, outside of the download metric.

In this episode, we dive deeper into the truth of what's actually behind these emotions and struggles. I’ve come to realize that this constant noise - the fear, the worry, the sadness - is a spiritual battle. We aren’t simply wrestling with our thoughts or feelings. The Bible reminds us that "we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world." These plans and ploys of the enemy often manifest as the anxieties and distractions that keep us from living with clarity and intention.
But we don’t have to stay stuck in this cycle. Today, I'm sharing how you can silence the noise, and overcome these distractions. When we focus on faith rather than fear, we can step into the work God has for us with peace and confidence.
